Volunteer Opportunities in Vermont

Volunteers are a core part of what keeps White River Land Collaborative going.
Aside from our Project Coordinator, the Community Project Team volunteers their time to make this project happen.

If you're able to give your time, whether a lot or a little, it makes a big difference!

WRLC is open to short-term volunteers for specific events or work days, long-term volunteers to help with day-to-day operations that interest you, and more.

Let’s connect and talk about how you can get involved in supporting this important project!

Ways Volunteers help our mission:

Help at an on-farm event: parking, greeting attendees, event set up, or take down

Step into the forest and help with one of the many volunteer days: managing invasive species, planting shrubs, etc.

Take photos at an event

Share WRLC materials with your community at libraries, coffee shops, etc.

Help with outreach to recruit sponsors for our ‘Seed for the Future’ screening series

Host a ‘Seed for the Future’ screening event in your community!

Help with mailings: folding appeal letters and stuffing envelopes

What is the White River Land Collaborative?

A community land trust, such as the White River Land Collaborative, is a unique organization that combines the principles of conservation, community engagement, and sustainable land use to ensure long-term access to land for farming and other community-based activities.
